NestEgg Health needed a product that could do something genuinely difficult: feel like a polished consumer app while delivering the data depth enterprise administrators demand — and bring both experiences from a single, coherent design system.

The platform enables employees to build healthy habits through friendly workplace competitions. Two very different audiences — everyday employees on their phones, and HR administrators managing the program from a web dashboard — had to be served without compromising the experience for either.

The brief covered the full product: mobile app (iOS and Android), admin web dashboard, light and dark mode throughout, a component design system, motion design, and design consulting through development. A complete product ecosystem delivered end-to-end.

Enterprise wellness apps fail when they feel like enterprise software. The product had to compete with best-in-class consumer fitness apps on the employee side — while simultaneously serving HR teams who need data density and operational control.

The employee-facing app had to make habit-building feel effortless and rewarding — onboarding, competition entry, progress tracking, and social nudges all designed to feel frictionless. The moment it felt like a corporate obligation, adoption would stall.

The admin dashboard was the opposite problem: HR managers need to monitor participation rates, configure competitions, and pull reports across an entire organisation. Data density was the defining design challenge — surfacing the right metrics without overwhelming the interface.
